[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]N3TC is the private company that manages the N3 freeway from Cedara to Heidelberg. The concession runs an extensive CSI branch in which it funds projects that are based in its prescient.
SADD was awarded funding to run at road safety education project at Sibongumbomvu Combined School near Cedara. This rural school caters to learners from Grade 1 to Matric. Many of the children walk or cycle to school and there have been several road incidents.
SADD is excited about this intervention which is a continuation of the #SaveKidsLives initiative it ran in May.
Kristen Williams and Swadhi Purmasir will be conducting the educational workshops at the school and Caro Smit will be meeting with local government officials to discuss improving the road infrastructure near the school, such as adding a zebra crossing and a scholar patrol.
