[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]This week it was the turn of the Grade 1 and Grade R class at Sibongumbomvu Combined School near Cedara to learn about road safety.

A mini road was laid out with mini road signs. The children were divided into cars and pedestrians/cyclists and they practised interacting on the road. They learnt to wait for the red light before crossing the road and what the other colours on a traffic light mean, they practised indicating with their arm if they are riding their bike and how to cross the road, to look right, left and right and to stop, look and listen.

Thank you to Nonjabulo Hadebe for translating and to N3TC – N3 Toll Concession Pty Ltd for funding this project.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”396″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”bounceIn”][vc_single_image image=”398″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”bounceIn”][vc_single_image image=”400″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”bounceIn”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][vc_single_image image=”397″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”bounceIn”][vc_single_image image=”399″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”bounceIn”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
